Meet Our Teachers
Mrs. Reynolds’ adventure with Brick House School began in 2016 when she enrolled her son in the two-day program. She was a stay-at-home mom after her son was born in 2013, until a position was available at Brick House School in September 2017.
The small class sizes, parent involvement, and staff had a heartwarming feeling to it that drew Mrs. Reynolds back into the field that she loved. She had previously held a position as a teacher/site coordinator for preschool through school age children.
Mrs. Reynolds earned an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Bristol Community College in 2009. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University in 2012. She is also lead teacher certified, director I, and director II certified by the Department of Early Education and Care. Mrs. Reynolds is currently the executive director. She has a strong passion for teaching and cherishes her relationships with her students.
Blue & Red Room
Mrs. Dolloff first became involved with Brick House School in September 1998 when she enrolled her first child, Marissa, in a three-day program. At the time, Mrs. Dolloff was working full time as a registered nurse. In 2000, Mrs. Dolloff enrolled her son, Lucas, in the two-day program at Brick House School and began volunteering at the school.
The director at the time asked Mrs. Dolloff if she ever considered being a teacher and it was something she had considered many years before deciding on a career in nursing. With a desire to share her children’s schedule and her love of children, she decided to return to school and take the required classes to become qualified to be a preschool teacher. She completed the necessary classes and became the Blue Room teacher in 2001, a position she has held since then. Mrs. Dolloff later became a lead teacher.
Today she teaches in the Blue Room along with working at Stoughton Visiting Nurses. She has considered it an honor to serve as a partner in learning to many preschool students in Taunton and surrounding communities over the past 18 years. “It really has been a joy and privilege to get to know so many wonderful families.”
Miss Lent has been with Brick House School for 7 years as a Lead Teacher. She has over 22 years experience in the Early Childhood Field working as a Teacher, Lead Teacher and also as a Director.
With all of her great professional experiences, she says she has had no greater experience than her time teaching at Brick House. It is so much more than just a preschool, it is a close-knit community made up of parents, teachers, and students, as well as alumni, with the core objective of making everyone's preschool experience fun, educational and most importantly, memorable.
