The parents of Brick House School are committed to finding ways to increase enrollment so that the school can continue to offer a quality preschool program to the children of Taunton and surrounding towns. Please contact the school for more information.

Earlier this month it was announced that Brick House School would be closing its doors, just one year shy of its 80th anniversary. One week later, concerned parents of enrolled and future students, alumni, and teachers filled the red and blue rooms at the preschool for what was dubbed the "final board meeting."
Determined to keep the school operating, the Brick House community elected nine new board members and is serious about keeping the doors open for another 80 years.
Our preschool is a nonprofit organization, and the only employees are our dedicated director and teachers. It is parent-run and managed by the board of directors. Our class sizes are small, and the attention and love our children receive are unmatched.
Student enrollment is the primary source of income, and initial enrollment for the upcoming 2019/2020 school year was lower than anticipated. Not ready to throw in the towel, we've given ourselves a July 4 deadline to increase our efforts and boost enrollment before deciding to close our doors.
While we focus on that, here's where you come in!
Our school operates annually at a deficit, which we've been able to compensate for through fundraising locally and by dipping into past reserves. It's been enough in the past, but it gets harder and harder each year.
We need you, the greater community of Taunton and surrounding areas, parents, grandparents, family, friends and alumni to support us with managing the day-to-day expenses, which include: classroom supplies, heating, electric, field trips and events, etc.
Brick House school has been a staple in Taunton for nearly 80 years and we plan to keep it going! Please support our community's children by donating today.
